1. Who to contact
Mindaily is developed and operated by an individual developer using the FixMind name. For privacy questions and requests, contact hello.fixmind@outlook.com. This notice explains what stays on your device and what the developer receives when you contact us.
The developer operates Mindaily and handles support requests in China. The developer is also the contact for privacy requests and complaints at hello.fixmind@outlook.com.
2. Information used on your device
Mindaily has no Mindaily or FixMind login and no app-operated cloud sync. Your optional profile name and email are local labels; entering an email does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing.
The app stores your onboarding choices, preferences, reminder settings, exercise-guide progress, daily practice totals, and the exercise/session information needed to run and adapt training locally. This can include results, difficulty and planning state. Portable backups contain only the selected information described below, not every local record.
We do not automatically upload this profile or training information to a FixMind server. Mindaily does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or HealthKit records. It contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Apple purchases and reminders
Apple processes purchases, billing, refunds and your Apple Account information under its own terms and privacy policy. Mindaily reads product details and verified purchase/entitlement information on your device to determine subscription access. We do not receive your full payment-card details, and the app does not send receipts or entitlement records to a FixMind server.
Reminders are optional local iOS notifications. You can disable them in Mindaily or iOS Settings. There is no Mindaily remote-push server for these reminders. Apple may separately make diagnostics available to developers under your Apple sharing settings; this is distinct from the app’s local reports.
4. Optional diagnostic reports
Apple crash/performance reports and app error reports are stored locally. They may contain device and operating-system details, app version, timestamps, performance measurements and technical stack traces. App error reporting does not intentionally include profile fields, exercise answers or payment details. These reports are not guaranteed to be anonymous.
Reports are not uploaded automatically. You decide whether to export them or include them in a support email, and can review or cancel that email before sending. Emailing a report associates it with the sender address and message. Reports are subject to a 20-file/5 MB local limit; reports older than 14 days are removed when the diagnostic store is next read or written. The report directory is excluded from iOS device backups.
5. Backups, sharing and device backups
Export Backup creates a readable JSON file containing your local profile, daily Journey totals, exercise-guide progress and selected preferences. It is not encrypted by Mindaily. It excludes detailed answers, scores, difficulty, session identifiers, planning history, diagnostics and subscription rights. Share it only with destinations you trust.
The iOS share sheet and file picker send or retrieve only files you choose. A destination such as iCloud Drive, email or another app handles the copy under its own policy. Separately, iOS or computer device backups may include app data according to your settings; having no app cloud sync does not disable Apple device backups.
Restoring a portable backup replaces its supported local sections and resets incompatible planning/session state. The app keeps a local recovery copy for Undo Last Restore until you undo, replace it with another restore or clear local data. Copies you export remain wherever you save or share them.
6. Information we receive when you contact support
If you email us, we receive the sender address/name, your message and any attachments you choose to send. Microsoft Outlook handles our support mailbox. We use this information to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy or legal requests. Do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment details, health records or unnecessary personal information.
Where a legal basis is required, we process information necessary to respond to your service request to perform our contract or take requested steps; proportionate troubleshooting and security may rely on legitimate interests, and mandatory recordkeeping on legal obligations. If a specific optional use requires consent, we will ask separately; reading this notice is not blanket consent.
7. Recipients and international processing
Only the developer has access to the support mailbox. Microsoft provides the Outlook email service and may process messages to operate that service. Support emails are read and handled by the developer in China, including when you contact us from another country. Apple operates its own store and platform services. Opening our web pages also sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and requested page, to the website and its delivery provider Cloudflare, as described in the website policy.
Those providers may process information in countries other than yours. Local training data is not routinely transferred to us. You can request information about the providers, locations and safeguards applicable to a support request. We disclose information to authorities only where legally required or otherwise lawfully necessary to protect rights and safety, and do not use support messages for advertising.
8. Retention and deletion
Local training/profile information stays until you change or clear it, remove the app, or the operating system removes it. You → Privacy & data → Clear local data removes the local profile, training history, guide progress, selected preferences and restore recovery copy. Diagnostic reports have a separate Clear diagnostics control. Some setup choices may remain until the app is deleted.
Deleting the app is different from offloading it in iOS, which preserves documents and data. Neither clearing local data nor deleting the app cancels an Apple subscription, removes Apple purchase records, deletes emails already sent, or removes exported/device backups. Manage those copies and subscriptions separately with their provider.
Ordinary support emails and their attachments are retained for one year from the date each message is received or sent, then deleted from the mailbox and support copies controlled by the developer. Relevant material may be kept longer only when necessary for an ongoing legal claim or a legal retention obligation, and only for as long as that need continues. You can request earlier deletion where applicable. Provider-managed recovery copies may follow the provider’s deletion cycle. We cannot retrieve or erase data that exists only on your device or in a destination you control.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You can edit your local profile, disable reminders, export portable data, clear local data and clear diagnostic reports without emailing us. For information we hold, contact hello.fixmind@outlook.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
We may request only the information reasonably needed to verify and fulfil your request, and respond within the period required by applicable law. You may complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not penalise you for exercising privacy rights. Mindaily does not use your information for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; exercise adaptation occurs locally.
10. Children and younger users
Minors may use Mindaily with appropriate guidance from a parent or guardian and any permission required by applicable law. Mindaily is a general-audience practice app. It does not require a date of birth or identity documents, and it does not automatically send local training records to the developer.
If you cannot independently consent to sharing personal information under local law, ask a parent or guardian to contact support on your behalf. Share only information needed for the request; do not send a child’s identity documents, school details or other unnecessary personal information. If we learn that we received a child’s personal information without legally required parental consent, we will stop the relevant processing and delete the information as required by applicable law. A parent or guardian may contact hello.fixmind@outlook.com about a child’s information.
11. Security and updates
We limit data transmission and rely on iOS app isolation and access controls for local storage. No storage or transmission method is completely secure; protect your device, mailbox and exported files.
We update the revision date when this policy changes. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the app or another appropriate notice before they apply where required; new processing requiring permission will request it separately. Translations are intended to convey the same meaning and do not remove mandatory local protections.
